The Non-Profit Aspect of Our Organization!

Families and Animals, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3-recognized organization in Arizona. We don’t only help dogs; we aid teens to become more responsible by conducting basic obedience dog training. Our team organizes emotional support horse groups for those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

The Paired Project

Our outreach program for teens is a way to help the dogs we are rehabilitating. After our rescue dogs are evaluated by the certified dog trainer, we pair the dogs with the teens. They will get the opportunity to:

  • Work with their paired doggy under the supervision of a certified trainer.
  • They teach the teen how to rehabilitate the rescue for dog rehoming services.
  • The teen will be responsible for walking the dogs around the property.
  • We teach the teens how to train the dogs from pulling on the leash.
  • They will train them in basic obedience like sit, down, stay, come & leave it.

Our Horse Support Group

We house loving horses that connect with humans to provide comfort. These sessions work miracles for those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, major depression, or abuse. You can come to brush down the horse and experience an emotional bond unlike any other.
